Under Insider bet, the bet is placed on any of the number that fall within the pre-determined range (0 to 36). Following types of bets fall under insider bet category:

 Straight Bet:

This bet is also called as ‘Single Number bet’ and its payout is at 35:1. Under this category the player guesses the number on in the 1 to 36 range as on which number the ball will fall.

 Split bet:

This bet is also called, as ‘Upwards and Sideways’ or ‘2 or Double Number bet’ and payout for this bet are 17:1. Under this bet, the player bets on 2 numbers which are present next to each other on the Roulette Table.

 Street bet:

This bet is also called as ‘Three Number bet’ or ‘Three on a Row’ and pays out at 11:1. Under this bet, the player bets on any of the 3 numbers in a row on the European Roulette Table.

 Square bet:

This bet is also called as ‘Box of Four’ or ‘4 Number bet’ under which the player bets on any of the block of 4 numbers on the European Roulette Table and pay out at 8:1.

 Five Number bet:

This bet is also known as ‘Box of 5 bet’ in which the player bets on any five numbers and pays at 6:1.

 Six Number bet:

This bet is called as ‘Box of Six bet’ and is placed on the group of 6 numbers covering 2 rows of 3 numbers and pays at 5:1.

 Outsider Bets:

Under outside bet, the player chooses his/her bet outside the area of European Roulette Table for example a red or first 12. Following bets fall under outside bet category.

 Column bet:

Under this bet, the player bets on the landing of the ball on a number in any one of the 3 columns on European Roulette Table and pays out at 2:1.

 Dozen bet:

Under this bet, the player bets on the landing of ball on any number falling on one of three rows on the European Roulette Table and its payout is 2:1.

 Even-Money bet:

Under this bet, the player bets on the landing of ball on the number from a half of European Roulette Table that may be Black or Red, Odd or even, 1-18 or 19-36 and this bet pay at 1:1.

Some of the rules of European Roulette game like “La Partage” also make it a very attention-grabbing game like according to this rule the player loses half of his/her bet when the ball lands to 0 and cuts the house edge to just half 1.35%. Additionally, according to one more rule, “En Prison” under which if the ball lands on zero player’s bet is kept in ‘prison’ and if in the next spin player hits hi/her number the money is returned back with no winnings.
